albury dog rescue

Applications are closed for Ragnar 🚫 This very good six year old boy is Ragnar. He is very laid back and is quite happy to hang about in the back yard or in your living room or where ever you are for that matter.

Ragnar is a gentle mature soul who just wants a quiet home. He is great with kids. We have no idea what he’s like with cats, but when he’s out walking he can be reactive to other dogs, especially if they react first, if they ignore him he’s OK.

Ragnar does need to be walked on a Luca or gentle leader as he’s quite strong, so an experienced handler is needed for this large dog when being walked. He doesn’t need a lot of walking, just a casual daily stroll is plenty for him.

Ragnar is house trained, he loves to hang out with his people, but if you need him to be outside for any reason he’s quite chilled to oblige. We think he’d be happier as an only dog.

So if you are on the lookout for a big laid-back good boy to keep you company inside and out and are familiar with the care and handling of large dogs, get in contact with Lorraine.

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to call, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
