female mixed breed rescue puppy

Nelly

If you want a little shadow and are not too worried about having privacy while on the loo, then this is the girl for you. Nelly is like velcro… She will stick by you. At six months old, she has had a tough start along with her brother Nat, and so when shown love, will lap it up and stay by you for it to keep coming.

However, as her confidence grows, she is starting to show a little independence and this will increase with time. She is definitely a pup that needs company, so will either need someone home most of the time or another dog friend.

Nelly is great with other dogs but can sometimes sound a little growl if another dog gets closer to you than she is, however is quick to stop with a correction command. Nelly weighs in at about 6kg so is only small/medium.

This is likely to cease once she knows she is in a secure, loved, permanent home. Nelly is great with kids, but not tested with cats. She is learning to play and loves chasing after a ball or toy that is thrown, as well as chasing after another dog that is running for the toy.

Her absolute favourite past time though is curling up with you on the couch or wherever you are. She is slowly learning house training and to walk on a lead. However, a commitment to ongoing training is essential to ensure she can be the best girl possible.

So if you can provide Nelly with all the love in the world and tick the boxes mentioned above, send through an application for this curly tailed, beautiful, loving girl. Please ensure you have spoken to all parties involved in the adoption process before sending through your inquiry.

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to apply, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.

*The adoption fee includes microchipping on the NSW Companion Animal Register, desexing, C5 vaccination, intestinal worm and flea treatment. Council registration for rescue dogs in NSW is $27.50 and $23 for pensioners. (This is included in the adoption fee).
