Large irish wolfhound rescue dog

Gus

Meet this gorgeous boy Gus. We have some words for him; gigantic, gorgeous, glorious, goofball 💗

This guy walks better with a halti/ gentle leader and I recommend he is walking with this every time. He walked with a loose lead and responded really well to ‘come, wait, heal, sit, stay’.

He loves his belly rubs and threw himself down on our photo shoot for cuddles and belly scritches.

This guy Gus is a loveable hound! Gus is a great dog! He is just looking for somewhere to chill and wander around. He has some wastage in his back legs and rear end likely due to lack of exercise.

Gus’s new people will need to understand the care and feeding of large dogs.

Gus would suit family with older children and tall parents!

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to apply, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.

*The adoption fee includes microchipping on the NSW Companion Animal Register, desexing, C5 vaccination, intestinal worm and flea treatment. Council registration for rescue dogs in NSW is $27.50 and $23 for pensioners. (This is included in the adoption fee).
