Oh our hearts! You will just melt when you meet these two. Poppy and Gracie came to us sadly because their former owner passed away.
It’s been a confusing time for the poor things but throughout it all they have shown us all what sweethearts they both are and how deserving they are of a second chance. These two must be re-homed together, they just cannot bear to be apart.
Poppy is a purebred German Shepherd and wow what a stunning lady she is! 6 years old, she has a lucious mane of hair that has all of the female (okay and male) volunteers green with envy! Poppy is very protective of her best friend Gracie and it is truly heartwarming to see. Some more training would help Poppy build her confidence and help her be the best girl she can be.
Gracie is a Shepherd cross and has the sweetest nature – don’t you think her face looks just like a teddy bear?! 7 years old, Gracie does have a skin condition that will require ongoing management, but this just adds to her character and is currently being managed with ease. Gracie adores Poppy and just like the nursery rhyme, wherever Gracie goes, Poppy is sure to follow – it’s just beautiful!
Both girls love their walks and being around humans, if you think you can provide a loving forever home for both girls, please call AWAR. There won’t be a dry eye in the house when these two get the chance they so deserve, to live out their days together with a family to call their own.

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
