Duke

We’d like to introduce Duke. This good boy with a funny face and very pretty coloured coat is three years old and he’s looking for a new forever home. Duke doesn’t want to be living with cats because he thinks they are untrustworthy.

He’s living with another dog with his foster mum and dad and their human pups who he loves.

He loves kids and playing outside with them so a young family would be just fine for Duke. He loves water (that will be the Labrador in him) especially the hose that’s his favourite. He has a shell pool at his foster house and his little friends and him play in it all day.

Duke is a very loving boy and would love to find a forever home where he can get cuddles and someone who wants to be outside and play fetch with him. He’s not so keen on hard toys but give him any stuffed / soft toy and he’ll play for hours. He’s also good on the lead and loves going for a walk.

He’s currently an outside dog as his foster carers have a sus cat that lives inside but maybe with someone who has some time and patience he will be able to come inside especially when it’s really hot or really cold.

If you would like to meet this very good boy and you think you can provide a suitable home for him please send an email expression of interest to Lorraine. Duke is looking forward to meeting his new forever people.

To submit an expression of interest for Duke please email Lorraine on lorraine@awar.org.au

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to call, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
