Dolly is a very loving, playful, intelligent and energetic puppy about four months old. (She is a Kelpie cross). She loves to be petted and play with everyone and dogs in her path.
She is learning to respond to commands and her name. So she will need patience, dedication and affection in this learning process. She likes all kinds of people (including children) but can be a bit rough in her games.
She may bark at you to tell you something or to get your attention when she is bored so she would do well with a person willing to give her all the love, patience and understanding.
Most of the time she is adorable, she follows you around and accompanies you wherever you go. She loves car rides and walks, but she feels a little fear especially when passing in front of a dog that is bigger than her. She brings you her own leash when she wants to go for a walk.
She is fully house trained. She knows exactly when it is time to sleep at night and that she must not make any noise. Dolly is not suitable for passive people or families. She needs activities where she can expend her “high energy” and develop normally. She needs to be engaged with the owner in play and learning during the day.

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to apply, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
*The adoption fee includes microchipping on the NSW Companion Animal Register, desexing, C5 vaccination, intestinal worm and flea treatment. Council registration for rescue dogs in NSW is $27.50 and $23 for pensioners. (This is included in the adoption fee).
