Della is on trial in a new home 💗 This beautiful girl is a pleasure to have in your life a hassle free pooch. She loves her walks but doesn’t need heaps of exercise, and needs to be walked in the cool parts of the day.
She is great with other big dogs but should be always kept on lead around any other small animals including dogs and cats.
Although she may be 13, she is a young girl at heart, especially when there is food around.
She still has lots of love to give and would be a lovable member to anyone.
She has a bounce in her step at the sign of any treat or the mention of food loves pets but also loves her own space.
Della is great on the lead and a pleasure to walk no pulling and walks at a nice pace. She would be suitable for an older couple or a couple with older kids. We are not sure how she would be with kids as she can be protective of food and can react if startled due to a slight hearing loss.
She loves her nanna naps and loves being inside and was easy to house train and of course that will need to be monitored. We don’t recommend her for a home with cats or other small pets such as rabbits.
Della’s coat will shed heavily twice a year, so will need to be groomed by you or a groomer familiar with the breed to manage this.
She can do the basic commands of sit and shake, she will do almost anything for a treat, but be careful of the fingers she loves good that much she may eat your finders as well lol
If you are looking for a golden oldie to love, please consider this lady.
