male blue heeler rescue puppy

Tucker

Tucker is a sweet, gentle five month old Blue Heeler puppy. He is a little timid when her first meets you, but is very loving once he gets to know you.

He is quite a subdued boy a lot of the time, but loves playing with other dogs and is learning that toys are fun. He is great around kids and has met a cat and wasn’t bothered. He likes stretching out on the floor or the couch and loves a cuddle, tummy rub and scratch behind the ears. He makes a funny, little groan of pleasure when he stretched out.

Tucker is learning to walk on a lead and to sit. He can use the doggy door and knows to go outside to toilet. He does bark at unexpected noises and other dogs barking, which is fairly common for dogs to do.

He is a quick learner and has shown his natural, working dog instincts. He will require a home where people are patient with him while he gets to know you. He will require ongoing training and stimulation so that he can be the best boy possible.

Please ensure that you have spoken to all parties involved in the adoption before making an inquiry. If you believe you can provide Tucker with all the love in the world and cater to his needs, please send through your application.

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to apply, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.

*The adoption fee includes microchipping on the NSW Companion Animal Register, desexing, C5 vaccination, intestinal worm and flea treatment. Council registration for rescue dogs in NSW is $27.50 and $23 for pensioners. (This is included in the adoption fee).
