awar greyhound adoption

Luna

Luna has been adopted 💖 Luna is a four year old female greyhound. She is house trained and walks well lead with a halti collar.

Luna has never raced, although she does like a good run everyday with lots of zoomies! The rest of the day she’s happy being a couch potato, with lots of naps and cuddles with her humans.

Luna is currently living with five other dogs, one of whom is her sister, three adults and a toddler.

Her ideal home would be on her own with no other dogs, preferably with a family with older children or a single adult.

Luna is very social and loves meeting new people, but not other dogs. She is looking forward to finding her new forever home.

Her new owners will need to understand the feeding and care of greyhounds.

To submit an expression of interest for Luna please email Lorraine on lorraine@awar.org.au

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to call, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
