female whippet x rescue puppy

Kia

Meet Kia, a delightful five-month-old Whippet cross with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. Though Kia is a bit timid at first, she’s incredibly affectionate once she warms up to you. This sweet girl adores cuddles and is happiest curled up on your lap, finding comfort in your presence.

Kia’s shyness around loud noises and certain objects such as mops and brooms might make her a bit hesitant at times, but her playful side shines when she’s with other dogs. She loves a good game of chase and enjoys a friendly wrestle, showing off her energetic side. She’s wonderful with children and very gentle, making her a perfect addition to family life.

When it comes to treats, Kia will happily take them from your hand, although she prefers to eat her meals in peace once you’ve set her bowl down and stepped back. She’s learning to walk confidently on a lead, although she sometimes humorously insists on holding it herself.

Creating a loving home for Kia means providing a safe space with patience and understanding. She seems to be house-trained, especially if there’s a door she can access when needed. With her endearing spirit, Kia is ready to become a loyal and treasured family member to those willing to show her patience and tenderness. Embrace her gentle heart with open arms, and you’ll find in Kia a lifetime of companionship and affection.

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to apply, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.

*The adoption fee includes microchipping on the NSW Companion Animal Register, desexing, C5 vaccination, intestinal worm and flea treatment. Council registration for rescue dogs in NSW is $27.50 and $23 for pensioners. (This is included in the adoption fee).
