Indie is a nearly three year old good girl who loves attention, or having a nap in the backyard. She loves to explore new places and is good on the lead and sits before crossing the road.
She doesn’t pay too much attention when walking her past people or other dogs. Off the lead Indie recalls well and doesn’t wander too far away. This hasn’t been tested in close proximity to other dogs or people though as in an off-leash area, so care need to be taken.
Indie greets her people with a very excited and enthusiastic wiggle, her happiness is contagious. Once she has settled a bit she is happy to just sit near you getting a pat or brush.
She will be a great companion for someone who will love this sweet Staffy girl. Indie has spent plenty of time around young people 12 and over. Some time spent keeping up with and improving her training would be good.
Indie sits nicely in the car, and often falls asleep on the return trip after a big play. She does seem to get a bit overwhelmed by lots of noisy activity, she can swim but gets anxious if you go too far out in the water. She responds to this by barking, otherwise she very rarely barks.
She’s not a fan of the hose, but can be washed with a bucket or any of the do-it-yourself dog washes, ie: Petbarn.

Please note: Even though you may be first to call, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
