Albury wodonga animal rescue

APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED. Elton is a very small young Papillon with a touch of something else in him. Elton is only very young so he will need some ongoing socialising and training.

He is very affectionate and snuggles up to whoever he can find. Little Elton can be a bit needy so will need a home where his new people understand that he will require a settling in period when patience and understanding are important.

Elton has been out to two homes on trial. This boy came back to us because he does suffer from separation anxiety. A retraining programme can be set up to help him cope with being left alone, or with another dog. Crate training, leaving often for very short periods and ignoring him whilst leaving and not acknowledging him upon returning are good ways to start.

This guy just needs to know that all is OK and that you are allowed to leave and come back at your leisure. If you have experience with separation anxiety and/or are willing to talk to a dog trainer please consider Elton.

We will be looking for the best ever home for Elton, please call to talk about him to Lorraine.

To meet Elton please contact Lorraine on 0432 397 784
