Coco has been adopted! 😊 This girl Coco, a two year old American Staffy. Coco has settled in nicely with AWAR. She is a lovely nature girl. Coco can be a little standoffish with strangers till she knows you’re okay towards her.

Her owner was a male, yet she is happy work with our AWAR female handlers.

We have recently discovered that Coco is not suitable on a rural property as she runs off to play with the stock, not in a bad way mind you, but any dog running after stock is only going to come to a bad end. So only an urban home for this girl.

Coco walks nicely on the lead, loves a belly rub and enjoys rolling in the sand! She plays with toys and loves a game of chasey too.

Coco can be a little timid with noise and fuss, so we recommend her for a home with children no younger than teenagers, and adults. Coco is learning that other dogs can be gentle towards her and will need thoughtful introduction in this aspect of her ongoing training and socialising.

This good looking young girl will make a great companion for someone familiar with the larger Staffy breeds.

Best outcomes: For the best possible outcome for each adoption we do prefer that you come to us and meet the dog or puppy in person.
Please note: Even though you may be first to call, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a “first in, first served basis”. We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
